Exposing Israel’s Attempted Pinkwashing of Genocide
The state of Israel’s official Twitter account recently posted photos of atop the rubble in Gaza as “a message of hope to the people of Gaza living under Hamas brutality.”
Israel has, for years, painted itself as a defender of the LGBTQ community and portrayed Arabs and Palestinians as homophobic, prompting writer Sarah Schulman to more than a decade ago.

She has a Master’s in Astronomy from the University of Hawai’i, and two undergraduate degrees in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Texas at Austin.
